Is there a free trial?
Yes — every self-serve plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel any time before it ends and you will not be charged.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and you only pay the difference for the rest of the period — we show you the exact figure before you confirm. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you keep the plan you have paid for until it runs out.
Is anything locked to a higher plan?
Only route planning, which starts at Professional — putting a day's stops in order starts to pay at three or four engineers. Every design tool, and every other operations feature, is on every plan. Engineer GPS tracking is a separate £15/mo add-on on any plan.
What happens to larger teams?
Starter, Professional and Business are self-serve, and you can add extra seats to Starter or Professional for £25/mo each. Enterprise (20 seats) is set up with a short demo and sales-assisted onboarding — book a demo and we'll tailor it to your team.
Do you charge per proposal or per job?
No. Vento is a flat monthly (or discounted annual) subscription by plan — survey, design, proposals, e-sign and taking payments are all included. The only usage-based charge is a 0.2% platform fee when a customer pays you through Vento; see below.
Is there a fee when my customer pays me?
When a customer pays you by card or Klarna through Vento, we charge a 0.2% platform fee. It comes out of your side at the time of the payment, so it does not change what your customer pays, and it is separate from Stripe's own processing fees. Bank transfers, Direct Debit and cash you record yourself carry no platform fee.
