Lone-worker check-ins

A check-in someone notices when it’s missed

An engineer on site alone starts a timer. If they haven’t checked in within 10 minutes of it running out, the office is alerted with their emergency contact — once, not over and over.

How it works

  1. 1

    Start a session

Pick the job, say how long you expect to be and add an emergency contact.

  2. 2

    Check in

One tap to say you’re OK, add time, or sign off when you’re finished.

  3. 3

    Missed check-ins surface

Anyone overdue shows in red at the top of the page for the office.

The details

Who to call

The emergency contact’s number sits next to the alert.

Tied to the job

Each session can be linked to the job the engineer is on.

A record of the day

Closed sessions stay listed, with when each engineer signed off safe.

What it won’t do. It alerts your office. It doesn’t ring anyone and isn’t a monitored alarm — your own procedure takes over from the alert.

Frequently asked questions

Which plans include lone-worker check-ins?

Every plan.

Does it track where the engineer is?

No. Nothing is tracked between check-ins. Engineer location is a separate add-on that each engineer has to agree to themselves.
