Dispatch board

The whole team’s week on one board

Drag a survey or install onto an engineer’s day. They’re notified, their calendar updates, and the board shows who’s already full.

How it works

  1. 1

    See the week

Every engineer down the side and every day across the top. Surveys are amber, installs are blue.

  2. 2

Drag a job onto a day

Jobs waiting to be booked sit under the board. Drop one onto an engineer’s day to book it in.

  3. 3

    Spot who’s full

A day with more than eight hours booked turns red and shows the hours, before anyone gets overbooked.

The details

Engineers are told

The engineer gets a notification, and a connected calendar updates.

Move it again

Drag a job to another day or another engineer whenever plans change.

Week by week

Step forward to plan next week, or back to see what was done.

What it won’t do. You assign the jobs — it doesn’t schedule them for you.

Frequently asked questions

Which plans include the dispatch board?

Every plan.

Does it plan routes as well?

Route planning is separate: it suggests the order to drive an engineer’s jobs in. Estimated as straight-line distance × 1.3 at 45 km/h. It isn’t traffic-aware and doesn’t give directions. Available on professional and up.
